This five-part series will cover effective assessment and equitable grading practices. Participants will also have the chance to design a unit around essential learning goals.

Even though the school year is just beginning, educators are already feeling great stress, with many in danger of burning out. This Community Conversation will offer a space to express concerns about faculty burnout, share resources, and learn new strategies for better self care during these trying times.

A two-session workshop for white teachers and administrators who want to expand their strategies for increasing racial equity in schools. Participants will leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of allyship as an action and with strategies to support healthy, antiracist teaching/learning environments.

This series is designed for 7th-12th grade humanities teachers, humanities department chairs, academic deans, and directors of 21st century learning. New teachers as well as mid-career and veteran teachers interested in reassessing their approach to teaching writing are welcome.

Four science teachers with expertise in physics, chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, and BlendEd teaching will lead participants in discussions about challenges and hopes with respect to teaching hands-on high school science remotely in the 2020-21 school year.

This two-part workshop is for anyone involved in coaching and mentoring who wishes to leverage the online and hybrid environment to best equip teachers in their professional growth.

In this two-hour workshop, participants will learn what co-creating classroom culture can look like in online spaces, discuss opportunities available with virtual learning (while being realistic about some of the challenges), practice with some tools for connection and co-creation of classroom culture, and design next steps to prepare for the school year.

This 3-day Summer Institute is transformative for anyone who leads groups of colleagues or students, especially teachers, administrators, and department chairs. Participants will gain new tools, tactics, and a personalized work plan containing strategies to improve their facilitation techniques.
