Facilitated by master teachers and administrators with dynamic guest presenters, Teaching Foundations Online will provide participants with personalized attention and specific instruction that is adaptable for all grade levels. Emphasis is placed on modeling and using inclusive practices for lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment, as well as on developing time management and communication skills, greater cultural humility, and increased confidence as an advisor and leader.

This 3-day Summer Institute is transformative for anyone who leads groups of colleagues or students, especially teachers, administrators, and department chairs. Participants will gain new tools, tactics, and a personalized work plan containing strategies to improve their facilitation techniques.

The Department Chairs Institute will guide participants in exploring the multilayered challenges of this unique position and in developing the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to become effective department leaders.

The Teaching Foundations program is designed to support the growth and success of all teachers—particularly those in their early years at independent schools—by focusing on foundational areas of teaching.

In this 6-hour Summer Institute, participants will spend the morning hearing the story of one’s school’s process and learnings, with opportunities for engagement and connection. In the afternoon, individuals and school teams will work to chart a course for their own school’s journey.

This Community Conversation is designed to hold space for professionals in athletics and physical education to discuss a variety of topics around the intersection of gender in athletic spaces: the field, the court, the classrooms, the locker room, and more.

This Community Conversation is designed to hold space for early childhood educators to talk about the variety of unique challenges that they face in the classroom, as well as gain new perspectives on the evolving practice of Anti-Bias Education.

This three-day series is a continuation of the APISA (Asian, Pacific Islander, South Asian) Study Group that began last June 2021. This program is an opportunity to connect with other APISA educators in an affinity setting that will provide a safe and generative space to self-reflect, share stories, and learn from each other’s experiences.
