With access to hands-on projects and a diverse set of guest speakers and organizations, you will come away not only empowered to take action and ameliorate climate anxiety, but also with a community of other practitioners working alongside you.

Facilitated by master teachers and administrators with dynamic guest presenters, Teaching Foundations Online will provide participants with personalized attention and specific instruction that is adaptable for all grade levels. Emphasis is placed on modeling and using inclusive practices for lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment, as well as on developing time management and communication skills, greater cultural humility, and increased confidence as an advisor and leader.

Our sessions, which are loosely timed to align with the rhythms of the school leader’s year, will be dedicated to discussing the challenges and complexities associated with managing, leading, and supporting diverse groups of faculty.

The ongoing program is designed to deepen participants’ capacity to think and feel fluidly, intuitively and critically about systemic racism. Through visual facilitation, storytelling, small-group activities, body-centered practices, and whole-group dialogue, participants will develop knowledge, skill and capacity to recognize, resist and reframe racism.
