In what ways can educators lay the foundation for all students to engage in mathematics? In this one day workshop PK-12 educators will learn about teacher and student mindsets that develop cultures of mathematical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving. Participants will analyze their belief systems about learning mathematics and understand how their beliefs impact student learning.

In this 2-hour virtual workshop, educators will have a chance to explore resources and methods that allow them to infuse environmental sustainability and climate literacy across their existing curriculum using an inquiry-based approach rooted in project-based learning. Using a sustainability education framework teachers will gain a theoretical perspective with which to view their materials and pedagogy.
