ABOUT THIS ONLINE SUMMER INSTITUTE

This online program is designed to provide space for educators to reflect on the culture of SEL at their school–what is working, what is not, and how can you prepare for more effective outcomes next school year?

Whether your school is just starting to implement SEL, seeking to enhance its existing program, or looking to expand its impact, this program series offers dedicated time, tools and strategies needed to move your SEL program forward.

Program Outline and Learning Goals:

  • Session One – Discuss what an effective SEL culture is, and explore different SEL approaches, tools and strategies.
  • Session Two – Reflect on our own skills with SEL, as well as identify and work through some of the challenges and barriers.
  • Session Three – Workshop and share ideas to implement next school year.

AUDIENCE

This program is designed for P-8 teachers, program directors, and administrators engaged in integrating/expanding SEL programming within their schools.
