Women + Leadership Conference
Leading with Imagination: Co-Creating New Pathways and Practices
Conference: 9:00am - 3:30pm
Optional Happy Hour: Begins at 3:30pm
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Join the California Teacher Development Collaborative for our annual Women + Leadership Conference! This powerful event brings together women educators from our schools to celebrate our journeys and strengthen our individual and collective impact. In celebration of CATDC’s 25th year, we are hosting one statewide gathering on February 7, 2025 in San Francisco at Futures Without Violence.
Our theme at this historical juncture is Leading with Imagination: Co-Creating New Pathways and Practices. The planning committee made up of women leaders from CATDC member schools is designing a dynamic day inspired by our keynote speaker, Meena Srinivasan, an expert in mindfulness and SEL who focuses on systemic transformation through personal growth.
In addition to our inspiring keynote, our day will include a reflective session with Tamisha Williams, a long-time CATDC facilitator who has supported independent schools in California and beyond through her work, blending self-reflection, community care, and sustainable leadership practices to create lasting change.
Featured Activities:
- Engage in experiential activities to facilitate connections and develop new skills
- Choose an afternoon breakout session that most suits your needs!
- Enjoy time for reflection and restoration
- Gather for a hosted-happy hour starting at 3:30pm for continued discussion and networking
