This 5-session series focuses on the unique role and responsibilities of educators who support classroom teachers directly and indirectly from positions outside of senior administration. These professionals inside schools—curriculum coordinators, learning specialists, instructional coaches, assistant teacher program directors, and others—who inhabit the space between classroom teachers and administrators often work within this context and without the power to change the overarching systems.

This 5-session program will help educators develop practical financial and risk management skills necessary for leadership roles in K12 schools, both day schools and boarding schools. Moving beyond the theoretical and foundational principles of finance, we will ground our work together in the practical tools that educators and schools can use to understand trends, articulate current and potential economic challenges, and develop strategic and action-oriented approaches to sound financial management and financial sustainability.

This ongoing program offers a small, confidential and welcoming environment designed to foster connections, learning, support and dialogue between Administrative Assistants working at independent schools.

In this workshop, participants will gather the understanding and tools needed to support gender diversity in early childhood settings. Janna Barkin will provide information about gender and gender identity, classroom best practices, resources, and insightful takeaways for educators who want to create a more inclusive and just world for children and all of us.

This virtual intensive is designed for educators seeking grounded understanding and practical support to negotiate the complex racial dynamics resulting from how Black and Asian communities in the United States have been historically (and still are!) pitted against one another as a strategy for upholding racial oppression.

This virtual workshop will offer tools and strategies that emphasize care and belonging, supporting new and returning participants in redesigning their onboarding processes to meet the unique needs of their school cultures and communities.

Using admissions as an example, we will in this virtual intensive explore how to move from a deficit to a strength-based model and generate new ideas and strategies so our organizations can thrive.

This session is designed for educators who are already using AI in their practice and are looking to develop more advanced skills. Through strategic, detailed prompting and providing AI with a knowledge base of resources that we curate, we can teach AI to behave in more specific ways and provide more helpful and reliable responses.
