Life happens. We understand that there will be times when you cannot attend a workshop that you have registered and paid for. We strive to be as helpful and flexible as possible when things out of your control happen. This is why we always allow you to transfer your spot to a colleague or friend, even up to the morning of a workshop. Below we have outlined our cancellation and refund policy, which we have in place to ensure the most accurate numbers when we secure well in advance locations, catering, and facilitators. For our ongoing programs or one-day intensives, refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to 22 days before the scheduled starting date. We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made 21 days or less prior to the first day of a workshop. For our summer institutes refunds are available (less a $50 processing fee) up to 30 days before the scheduled starting date. We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations made 29 days or less prior to the first day of a summer institute.
Please contact us by email as soon as you know you cannot attend a workshop. This will allow us time to contact our waitlist and hopefully fill your spot.
If you are unable to attend a workshop you may substitute another person in your place at any time with no charge.
Reserved Ticket Policy
The CATDC does not reserve or hold tickets. If you are waiting to confirm a substitute or reimbursement with your school, please reach out to email@example.com for Bay Area workshops and firstname.lastname@example.org for Los Angeles workshops. We will register you manually and send an invoice to your school, which can be paid by check or credit card. Some workshops fill up very quickly and without a confirmation from Eventbrite you might miss the opportunity to attend. When in doubt, reach out to us.
